While on vacation with her parents, Jennifer Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) meets Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher), a good-looking single man. The two soon fall in love and continue their relationship back home, rushing into a quick marriage. Jen thinks she has found the perfect man but she doesn't know Spencer actually works for the CIA and often spends his days chasing and killing criminals. Their lives are about to take a turn for the worse when they discover that one of their friends is actually contracted to kill the couple.
